En uno de los foros que frecuento, he visto hoy un hilo interesante, lo principal es lo siguiente:

«One of my client sites has 3 remote locations. I’ve got them connected via hardware VPN (Calyptix AccessEnforcer units) to the main office. We just migrated from SBS2003 R2 to SBS2008. Here are some changes I had to make to get RDP and the sbs console to correctly report the PCs on all the subnets.

– Windows SBS Client – Windows XP Policy

– Computer Configuration/Administrative Template/Network/Network Connections/Windows Firewall/Domain Profile

– edit Windows Firewall: Allow Inbound Remote Desktop exceptions (should be enabled)

change the value from «localsubnet» to ‘*’

– edit Windows Firewall: Allow inbound remote administration exception (should be enabled)

change the value from «localsubnet» to ‘*’

– edit Windows Firewall: Allow inbound file and printer sharing exception (should be enabled)

change the value from «localsubnet» to ‘*’ (KB957713)

There is currently no Vista systems at this client, so I’ve not touched the “Windows SBS Client – Windows Vista Policy”. In taking a quick look at it, I notice that the above settings are “not configured”. Interesting, as I would have expected them to be the same. Anyone have any idea why these are not configured for “localsubnet” by default?
