Microsoft ha liberado una nueva versión del cliente para Windows Phone e IOS, que tiene como novedad la posibilidad de ver las presentaciones de PowerPoint para IOS y para Windows Phone, pero además en Windows Phone tenemos la posibilidad de utilizar comandos de voz:

Lync Meeting Update Tool

​Microsoft ha publicado una herramienta (Lync Meeting Update Tool (64 bit) - Lync Meeting Update Tool (32 bit)) que nos pemite corregir los vínculos de las reuniones de Lync cuando el usuario se ha movido de servidor. Su utilización es muy simple, únicamente instalamos la aplicación y lanzamos el el ejecutable MeetingMigration.exe (requisito indispensable es tener Outlook instalado)

Una vez que hemos iniciado el MeetingMigration, únicamente debemos pulsar en NextLync_Meeting_Update_Tool_1.png

ahora nos mostrará el usuario de Lync sobre el cual actualizará los enlaces a las reuniones en línea y pulsamos en Next

para finalizar pulsamos en Update y luego en Finish

Esta herramienta encontrará los servidores de reuniones de Lync que tenemos en este momento y actualizará las URLs correspondientes, claramente muy útil cuando hemos migrado de servidores de Lync (actualización o movimiento de pool, etc..).

Microsoft ha liberado una nueva versión de Microsoft Lync Connectivity Analyzer (64 Bit)​ y Microsoft Lync Connectivity Analyzer (32 Bit)

Muy útil si queréis comprobar la conectividad de los clientes de Lync 2010/2013 Mobile y el cliente Lync Windows Store App

Podemos seleccionar el tipo de cuenta que queremos comprobar: On-Premises / Office 365

Si queremos utilizar el descubrimiento automático del servidor de Lync podemos hacerlo o si por el contrario queremos escribir la URL de nuestro servidor también tenemos esa posibilidad

Como en la versión  anterior podemos elegir el tipo de conexión que queremos verificar: Interno / Externo

Para realizar el test de nuestra conexión, únicamente debemos introducir los datos de un usuario seleccionar las opciones que deseadas y pulsar en Start

Una vez que se complete el test podemos abrir un fichero de texto con el LOG que también se nos nuestra en la parte derecha del Microsoft Lync Connectivity Analyzer Microsoft_Lync_Connectivity_Analyzer_Enero_2014_7.png
Podemos enviar el LOG por e-mailMicrosoft_Lync_Connectivity_Analyzer_Enero_2014_8.png

Pero si quieremos buscar por una cadena de texto en el contenido de log en busca de información más concreta, podemos escribir en el cuadro de Search la palabra o palabrasMicrosoft_Lync_Connectivity_Analyzer_Enero_2014_9.png
